1. Full time or half time student in a National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education accredited graduate program of study leading to a degree with an emphasis in Nursing Education.
2. Cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.5 on a scale of 4.0 (documented by official transcript reflecting previous term’s grades).
3. Written recommendation by a nursing faculty member.
4. Completed application form and supporting materials.
5. Evidences leadership in the profession of nursing.
6. Demonstrates recognition for modeling a pattern of excellence.
7. Contributes to one or more professional organizations.
8. Reflects skills of strong communications and interactions with colleagues, students and clients.
9. States the intention to serve as faculty in Illinois for one academic year.
